This is for a challenge over at Squirly Girl Creations! You need to use scraps, and Kristals stamps, so because I'm in love with Kristal's stamps- I thought Id join in!! They are so fun and uplifting, it makes me wish I had them all! So today I stopped by my local scrap store and used a die cutter roller machine to make some cards to go with her stamps! Most scrap stores have these machines for customer use, so I thought I would show you how I used my local scrap store's cutter to make some fun SHAPE cards! Hope you like them.
I folded the paper in half and positioned it a little inside the sun, and made my cut.
This gave me a card that would open with one missing shiny sun beam arm. Then I took the rest of the paper and cut out another sun. The full sun.
Next I grabbed my ink and inked the edges of the folded card, and the sun.
Then I pop dotted the sun over the folded one, stamped it with my Peachy Keen stamps PK-451 Wide Eyed Kids, added a little chalk, a little cloud with one of Kristal's stamp sayings from Splash-tastic Summer. I had a hard time picking out what cute saying I wanted to use, so I made 2 cards with both sayings!!!
Once that is done you have yourself some sun shiny goodness! He even stands up on his little sun beam legs!!!

Those are adorable! I don't have a local store, but we have some of these dies at school. I may have to try this one day (after school, naturally). Thanks for the inspiration.
