little bunny layout

This is a layout quick and fun for the kids, I havent given it a title yet because I dont know what child is going to get it yet. At any rate, I made this with a paper stack from SEI called Maeline. It has great patterns and colors. I pulled out Create a Critter cart on my gypsy, and used the hide feature so I could stamp the cute little PK face! Cant wait to put pics on this one!!

A wonderful gift

It was my wedding Anniversary this month, on April 4th-, and my husband got me a very thoughtful gift. A personalised stamp.. He really listens and gets me things he knows I have been wanting, or things I would never buy for myself. I seem to always shop for me last. And with 4 kids, and a husband, there is always some one who needs new shoes, a dress for a dance, or recital- there is usually not so much left for extra things like gifts. But my husband listened to my heart and my love for all things crafty and got me a little stamp for my cards and crafts! I love it. It has my nick name on it and the address of my blog. My friends call me McVic- My friend Shannon started that.( Love her. )I thought I would let you know where he found it,and give you an honest opinion. I could not spend tons of money on this, and have seen stamps for over $30.00 on crafting sites online. Well, on EBay he found this for $5.99- from a seller named Chris, who uses the EBay name loongchai74. I wanted to tell you all, that the process was very EZ- I made a change to the stamp mid way through and with emails back and forth I got EXACTLY what I always wanted. If you are looking for a stamp with your information on it, or a stamp with/for something special, try Chris out. Next time we need one, we are going back! Check out my little stamp! I just love it- Thank you Chris, and love you hunny!

Simply Sunday Challenge

Good Morning! Today is a wonderful day! Today is Kristal's Simply Sunday Challenge over at Hope you can stop by and make a little project. The theme this Sunday is camping! I must say, I havent gone camping in a few years, but I have been asking my husband to take us again this summer, the "babies" are getting older I think they would love it!- So with the insperation of upcoming camping trips I decided to make a mini! If I have an album I will have to fill it with pictures of diffrent trips. The first 2 pictures were taken on a camping trip my family took in 2006- We drove to Virgin Valley NV- go stay at the hot springs camp ground and mine opals at the Royal Peacock Opal Mine! We had a wonderful time. It was beautiful, and we found lots of shinney little opals! It was so much fun.

Here is what I used for this project. I tried to scrap my stash!
Create a Critter
Campin Critters
OLD CM patterned paper
Core-dinations cardstock
White gel pen
We R memory - grommits
brown twine from walmart
Thick white paper(to layer between trees for strength)
hole punch
Come on over to and play along with us!! See you there!

Its a Basket Case Hop with Rhonda!

Welcome to Rhonda's Basket Case hop!! I'm am so excited to get to hop with this wonderful crafty lady! She is uber talented and so brilliant- I'm honored to be amongst her guest hoppers today. If you have come here first please start here with Rhonda at  My project is all about what the little girls are getting for Easter, and  is one that I can easily reproduce for all 4 of my kiddos. Crafty moms have to have tricks, and one of mine is when I make a layout or project, I always cut out 2. Most occasions that I scrap all my kids are involved, so it just makes sense to me to get them all done in one fell swoop! OK- on to my Easter basket! I visited the $1 section of Target and picked up a bucket and a pair of bunny ears- My little girls are in ballet and needed tutus, so that's what they are getting for Easter..I gathered my little gifts, and pulled this basket together! I used Easter 2010 for the bunny face using the Gypsy, copied it 3 times and used the hide feature  to cut out  features of the face in different colors. you are here YOU ARE HERE Next

skating layout

Hi everyone! This is Scrap Mama. I am so happy to be back to guest design today for you to see! Here is a little layout I did of my daughters first skating lesson. I wanted to use a variety of pics but didn't want to make a huge layout. So I decided my best option was to collage them so she could get them all on her page and I wasn't wasting a bunch of space. I used the 50's cart for the skates and lettering and was able to make a 1 page layout with all her pics compact size. I am happy how this turned out and I hope you enjoy it too. Remember to come back tomorrow for Rhondas the basket case blog hop tomorrow her blog is scraphappenswithrhonda@blogspot. Thanks again and good luck on your blog hop this weekend!

Its a great pad, I thought at first I would use it for my boy, but I am finding it really useful for both my boy and girls! I am Love the versatility.
